NEW! Structural Concepts’ Oasis® Refrigerated Island Merchandiser Offers Ideal Temperatures for Red Meat or Produce with the Flip of a Switch
April 15, 2009—Structural Concepts announces the new Oasis® MI4R Multi-Purpose Refrigerated Island Merchandiser. The versatile 4-foot walk-around unit can be shopped from all 4 sides, enticing shoppers with almost any packaged product from produce to red meat—at its ideal temperature.
The Oasis MI4R features Structural Concepts’ Breeze™ self-contained, slide-out refrigeration system, but with a unique addition. The ideal temperature can be toggled between 38°F for red meat and 41°F for produce with the flip of a switch. The switch communicates with the controller, automatically changing set points to yield the desired product temperatures. In addition, Breeze’s convenient slide-out access facilitates maintenance while reducing downtime.

The case’s exterior is available in stainless steel as well as a choice of paint and laminate colors, with an attractive acrylic upper section that provides a clear and unobstructed view of the product. The case interior comes in stainless steel, black, or white. For black and white, a special corrosion resistant pre-coating protects the painted surface from harmful cleaners and product juices. The inner tub and fan shroud assembly are constructed of stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance. For added protection, the evaporator coil is available with an optional coating.
